Finally

It's been a while since I did my last confession... Anyway, finally school has started and it feels good. The last weeks have been alright but filled with unnecessary stress that made my stay a little bit unpleasant. But now everything's settled and I can go on, thinking about getting a life here and other fun stuff.

My units are very designish and don't include any boring readings with endless essay-writing. This is what I've been waiting for. Today I had Digital Design which means using the computer for different design projects. The first project is designing 3 chess pieces out of 2 A3 sheets. And not just cutting them out from a paper and tadaa, it's finished. There has to be a whole idea behind it. So for me this is really exciting. Since I am a chessplayer and a thinker (my dad calls me the thinker because of my adventures in my dreamworld) I believe I already have a good start. Now I just have to come up with a great idea.... *thinking*.....

Anyway! I haven't attended the other classes yet but will update about these very soon. The units are: Introducing Communication Design, Typography (love it!) and Design Studio.
Another great thing is that I was able to arrange my schedule so I only have classes Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. This is just too good.
So what else is there... Yes! I've started to take house dance classes. I remember last time I was here (2 years ago) I couldn't find any house dance classes in Melbourne or Australia. It still isn't big here but it is slightly growing... Little by little. The dance teacher is a really nice guy and the funny thing is that he is taking the same course as I am. Coincidence! I really like the venue and the attitude they have there. Everybody dance for fun and even after some classes you can stay there and have a chat, dance or just watch others practicing. Really Aussie I reckon.

Hey, last time I wrote I was about to meet up with Cameron, my buddy from Blue Mountains who's in the airforce (2 hours outside Melbourne). When I met him that day we went to Williamstown, a very nice place with a lot of groovy cafés and bars. From there he had arranged a flight on top of Melbourne. So I've seen my beautiful city from above. It was awesome! Such a nice surprice.

I still have a lot of things to write about but it just went blank... Maybe because it's getting late or maybe I'm just feeling like chilling in front of the TV with some fruit that Aida is providing. That's Rita's mom. She is great and take care of me very well. I love her food and she really appreciates me loving her food. So mom... don't worry. It's all good!

So long...
