... by the way: happy birthday Marika who turned 25 yesterday. My sister who's getting old... Haha! My other sister had her birthday a month ago so happy birthday Pia as well... Even though you miss your family all the time you miss them extra on these special occations when everybody gathers to be merry.

I love school! All we do is designing. The whole school is very creative and I like the relaxed ambience that surrounds the area. Chapel street is just around the corner so you are in the middle of a vibrant area with lots of cafés and cool shops. I try to stay away from the last mentioned but sometimes you just have to enter one of them for a quick look. Anna must get a job soon...
Yes, Anna... Everybody calls me that here. Aussies are very much known for using short names. Anna Maria is apparently too long and since the school decided to use only Anna I gave up. It feels strange though because I love my name and my name is a part of my identity, my me. So when I sign my name on school papers I write my whole name but underline Anna. Schitzo apperance it might look like, but I'm not letting myself go completely.. It's pretty amazing how a name can affect you that much. There are so many people out there suffering for worse and I'm sitting here complaining about feeling halv-myself just because a Maria is missing...

The dancing is going very well here. I found a venue that I really like and now my dance teacher has invited me to create a house crew with him and other house-lovers. Last friday, after dance class we went out to this hiphop club in the city and danced all night long. I'm so happy I've found people who are into dancing just for the dancing. Hey, I do miss my people back home and I so wish you were here to enjoy the great vibe of Melbourne.

It's been hot last days and I'm hoping for good weather tomorrow since I'm off school. Beach maybe?
