Storm!

We never had our last lesson today because the announcement said we had to go home due to the stormy weather. During the day big branches had fallen down on the ground and the wind was literally tearing your face. Pretty creepy but at the same time amazing what mother nature can accomplish.

The human being have created many amazing huge things but when it comes to Mama Green she's nothing. And that is very obvious in Australia. Sometimes I do wonder why people, included myself, want to move here. I love the landscapes and the nature around here but sometimes it's so far away from the safe and quiet life in Sweden. With that I don't mean the distance (which is, by itself pretty obvious). Just the fact that we had to leave school because of the storm is a very distinct difference from the so called storms in my home country.
Storm is one thing. What about the hot, dry summer when the water level is so low that you recieve restrictions of how much water you are allowed to use. And then we have the bush fires..

So why do I still love it? Some things are just very hard to describe in words. I guess you just have to see it through your own eyes.
